LEED, WELL and WELL Health & Safety certified

In 2020 our goal was to confirm our technology was sustainable, eco-friendly and completely safe to use in the same space as humans. We also wanted to understand how they could be benchmarked when compared to major international ratings and standards.


We submitted our air and surface sanitisation solutions for testing and product mapping, where they underwent continuous testing (also in the presence of people), with the ambition of achieving international sustainability standards LEED V4.1, WELL and WELL Health-Safety. The results confirmed that we are fully compliant and that our products provide next-generation sustainable solutions that meet the high standards of disinfection and sanitisation as required by today’s residential, work and community environments.

In 2020, we submitted our air sanitisation products for testing and mapping (continuously and in the presence of people), according to the international sustainability standards LEED V4.1, WELL and WELL Health-Safety. The goal was to highlight how our products were environmentally sustainable and how they performed compared to major international ratings.

 

This provided a specific list of accreditations confirming that our products contribute to sustainability according to the international ratings LEED, WELL and WELL Health-Safety.

What is LEED?

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) system is renowned worldwide as the foremost rating system for green building practices. It can be applied to a broad range of building types, offering a comprehensive approach to creating sustainable, healthy and cost-effective structures. Achieving LEED certification is widely recognized as a significant accomplishment in demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and leadership in environmental stewardship.

What is WELL?

WELL certification is a global rating system developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), a public benefit corporation, to evaluate the performance of buildings towards sustainability, health, and well-being. Earning WELL certification demonstrates a commitment to creating healthy, high-performing buildings that prioritise the well-being of occupants through air, water, nutrition, light, fitness, comfort and mind. It is a highly sought after accreditation across the globe.

What is WELL Health-Safety?

The WELL Health-Safety certificate assists facilities and management teams, as well as organisations in prioritising the health, safety, and well-being of their most valuable asset: people via the buildings they live and work in. The WELL Health-Safety seal is a visible representation of trust, signifying that evidence-based measures have been adopted and verified by a third party. The presence of the WELL seal communicates that the inside of the building is safer, offering a sense of security to everyone who enters it.

Fully Adhering to European Regulations

Our devices are built and designed using a US-patented technology that has undergone thorough inspection by renowned universities and research institutions. With their international ISO certification, they guarantee safe and effective sanitisation of air and surfaces for all living creatures, neutralising germs, bacteria, viruses and odours. In addition, when installed in the custom systems produced at our sister company in Verdellino Italy, they comply with the European directive ErP 2018 and 2015 regulations 1253/2014 and 327/2011, and are certified according to European standards.

Our devices are made with a technology patented in the United States, have been checked by universities and research institutions and have obtained international ISO certification to guarantee deep and harmless sanitisation of air, odours and surfaces for living beings.

 

Furthermore, if installed on the custom systems produced at our sister company’s headquarters in Verdellino in Italy, they are certified according to European regulations to comply with the European directive ErP 2018 and 2015 according to regulations 1253/2014 and 327/2011 .

International testing and certification

Leading universities and research institutions have verified and tested our technology to ensure that it delivers on its promises. Our technology provides cleaner, purified environments that are thoroughly sanitised and disinfected within seconds of being activated, with up to 99% effectiveness in mere seconds. Importantly, our technology achieves this without any harm or negative impact to living beings sharing the same space.

Our Photoplasma technology and devices have also been certified by institutions and universities at an international level and guarantee 99% sanitisation of air and surfaces without any harmful effect on living beings.
