A solution from the stars

The aerospace industry was the first to identify the need for a disinfection and purification solution that was continuous, environmentally friendly and could harness the power of nature with minimal maintenance.

 

This was first development of photoplasma. And over the last 20 years, that technology has been further advanced to the point where it can both affordably and easily vastly improve the sanitation of the rooms we work, live and play in – no matter their size or existing ventilation set up.

The Power of UV Light

Invisible to our eyes but incredibly powerful, ultraviolet light has various common uses such as for x-ray technology and infrared vision. At a specific very specific wavelength (UV-C) ultraviolet rays become germicidal.

UV-C has a high energy level, which allows the light to penetrate a microorganism’s cells, disrupting its DNA and therefore neutralising it. In this state, the microorganism can no longer reproduce, disabling it from spreading further disease and infection.

How does the technology combine?

In a process called Photocatalytic Oxidation we combine the power of UV light with a highly reactive metallic catalyst, to release free radicals, including Hydroxyl and Ozone to effectively clean the organic pathogens in the air by accelerating photoreactions.

How does the technology attract the contaminated material to it?

Our air is full of positive and negative ions which are electrically charged. Our technology includes a negative Ion generator which attracts all the dirt, viruses, bacteria and harmful molecules and groups them together.

 

Once inside our photoplasma process kicks in and then releases clean, fresh and germ-free air back into the room.
